Best take on The Raven ever!

Truly, the best take on the Raven I've ever seen. I loved it! Simply fantastic. I do have one question, though. Was it intentional in the opening scenes for the word Lenore to look suspiciously like the word 'whore?'

fishkins responds:

No, I think it just looks weird on yours. :P Looks normal on ours.

Too slow!

That was my only beef with this movie, but it was a big one. The action was way, way too slow. Everything else about it I enjoyed, but I almost fell asleep waiting for some of the moves to happen. Speed the next one up and you'll have a true winner on your hands.

MaxR responds:

My previous movie was full of action, but ppl didnt like it, so I don't think I will take ur advice.

OMG! It's Mr Bill!

You killed Mister Bill!

It got an amused smirk out of me, but you really shoulda had 'junior' yelling 'Oh nooooo!' when he lost his leg...one of those 'humor on multiple level' parts, or something. It was still pretty amusing, tho.

Viper-Studios responds:

I know who you are.. Your RacerX!

Hehe

Well, I got a kick out of it. The graphics and animation were superb, and overall it was a good piece of work. Didn't have a problem with the lyrics to the song, personally. Anyway, great work. Keep it up!

CheveLoco responds:

good to know nobody has felt offended till now

Wow

Stylish and smooth, and the music simply added to the goodness. I loved this one, and I can't really put my finger on why. It's going in my favorites, though. Terrific work; simply fantastic.

Gusto responds:

great to hear :D a lot of people added this to their favs, im pleasantly suprised !

Thanks!

OK

Well, I see you chose to go with the 'Kingdom Hearts' versions of Cloud and Sephiroth. The constant circular camera pans were cool at first, but then they got really, really tired. There were lots of stylish shots of the action, but no real action to speak of. And, seriously...Michael Jackson?

You've got a sense of style, I'll give you that, but I'm afraid that your style did more to detract to the movie than add to it in this case. Just something to keep in mind when making your next movie.

snapper0505 responds:

constant circular camera pans? i had 2!
well, ok, ill do better next time i guess.

I dunno...

In a way, I kinda liked some of the earlier ones better. I think it was because of the tendency of the characters to roll so much. The weapon fighting was pretty fantasic, I must say.

On the other hand, I've seen The Course, so I found the grapple line sequences to be more than a little derivative. I agree with you in that I think your movie works really good with just the music.

It's certainly not a bad piece at all. Keep up the good work.

GAMECUBICLE responds:

They only roll two times. But thanks for reviewing.

Interesting...

It was an interesting piece of work, that's for sure. I have an answer for your second section question, though. "A little more than that." Not full details, but a line here or there to discern where head/shoulders/whatever are, sometimes he looked like an amoeba mating rather than someone going through a kata. Besides that minor beef, though, I liked it. Good work.

Jszostak responds:

hahahaha ya it was an experiment i wanted just a silouette and i wanted to see if you could still tell what moves he was doing, thanks for watching

How fitting...

...that a movie like this is a tribute to the obituaries. The preloader is broken, the sound is broken, I got about halfway through the credits and realized that it wasn't really worth my time to read the rest of them; that and the two songs mixed with each other finally made me click that little 'X' in the corner.

Unknown-Clock responds:

well how about i fix my movie for about another 3 days how about that and while im doing that i can sprincke pixy dust over a big pile of go fucke urself!!!!

Not bad, for a clock movie

I'm not a huge fan of clock movies, but this is definitely one of the better ones I've seen. It's an especially good first movie. You're off to a great start, keep up the good work.
